(More customer reviews)This is a gorgeous looking set; extremely luxurious and plush. BUT - I've discovered I prefer a cotton quilt, or a down comforter. This has some polyester, as most fancy comforters do, and it's just not breathable enough for me. But I'm keeping this set, in hopes I'll use it on a guest bed someday. It's so beautiful to look at! Lovely muted sage and bluegreen. Gorgeous rope details at the edges, and also, a teeny tiny white dot pattern on some of the pillows and the bedskirt, you can only see in person. It came in a 'King' box even though I ordered a Queen size, but don't worry, the set was Queen sized. (It's just so big, and comes with amazing huge pillows, they needed a HUGE box.) Looks like you paid a million bucks. I still use the pillows, as floor pillows when our friends are over to watch a movie. They are that size! If you are ok with normal polyester-type comforters, this is a LOVELY buy, if you're looking for luxury.

Renaissance 600 Thread Count 100% Cotton Sateen Sheet Set Review

(More customer reviews)These sheets are smooth and comfortable; however, the fabric is thick and substantial, so if you like your sheets cuddly-soft, maybe you won't care for these. I'm one of those people who can't stand to have wrinkles and folds under my feet, so I've fallen in love with them; the fabric will hold up all week without getting stretched, loose, and tangly. I do wish they had done an extra row of stitching on the elastic of the fitted sheet, but at this price I suppose you can't have everything--and if it becomes necessary, I do have a needle-----somewhere-----I think.
I like the café color very much--it's a rich gold, deeper and not as yellow as the golds of yesteryear. The sheets launder well; if you take them out of the dryer promptly and iron just the top hem (Iron an entire sheet? I don't think so.), the whole set looks smooth and inviting.
So I'm very pleased. Now if I could just get my husband to let me tuck in the sheets at the bottom of his side of the bed, life would be good.

I have already washed them once and they still look new and feel soft. I would have given them 5 stars but I wish the sheets could have also had John Cena or Triple H on them instead of just the W's.

I was torn between two and I was sold on this one for the 1000 fill down comforter. To my dissappointment the comforter I recieved was only 600 fill. It was either sent by mistake or falsly advartised....which I know can happen unintentionally. I will look into this with Homespell, and I will write again to verify if I get an answer. The comforter is still great. Has a nice wieght to it. I was triing to find one similar to the one I fall in love with while on a cruise. This one may have fallen a little short. Still love amazon/Homespell, and will continue to order through/from them.

(More customer reviews)Just put this on my bed and I'm very disappointed. I have a standard king size mattress and the king size comforter is too small. It is smaller than the top of the mattress. There is no overhang at all, which might be fine if you're sleeping alone. I can see my husband and I getting into a tug-of-war match with this comforter in the middle of the night. Shouldn't the comforter be larger than the top of the mattress?

He finds it warm and unincumbering. I would like it a little more substantial but for what we wanted it is just right. If you are looking for something of substance, look elsewhere. This is a light as air unit.

(More customer reviews)As an online shopper I rely heavily on the detailed information found under the "product features" section. Almost EVERYTHING was wrong with my order!
It said, "Set includes one full/queen comforter, 1 queen flat sheet, 1 queen fitted sheet, 2 standard pillowcases, 2 standard shams * Duvet 88 by 92 inches * Shams have zippered closure * Brushed during finishing process for extra softness * 100-Percent cotton"
I did NOT receive one full/queen comforter, 1 queen flat sheet, 1 queen fitted sheet, 2 standard pillowcases.
I DID receive the duvet cover, 2 shams with zippered closures and a mostly matching dust ruffle which was nice since the dust ruffle wasn't mentioned at all.
I like what I DID receive, the fabric is pretty and not visible in the online image there's a lovely eyelet detail throughout the entire duvet cover. I would think that the dust ruffle would match the reverse side of the duvet and shams, but the pattern is different entirely.
Someone should edit the "Product Features" section a little more, LOT MORE closely!

(More customer reviews)I am one of the many that suffers from hip, shoulder and back pain due to past injuries. I recently bought a brand new bed with a Euro top, with natural fibers; bamboo cover, latex and memory foam filling, etc. I love my bed as it provides support for my various back issues. However, since I'm a side sleeper, it does nothing for my shoulder and hip areas (too firm). So I've been surfing Amazon and other sites for the "perfect" mattress topper to add more "plush" or "cushion" to my wonderful bed for two months now and have settled on this topper...It's temporary until I can find the perfect combination of plush and support (I have a feeling I'm going to have to use a combination of toppers to make the plush/cushion cloud feel that I'm looking for).
This topper is good for the price if you're looking to add some more plush or cushion to your already decked-out, plush bed. It does not provide support and, yes, you will sink (which is why I gave it 4-stars)...but...but...the cushion that surrounds you is wonderful and plush and the topper does fluff back to life after getting out of bed. I fluff it once a week when I change my sheets. You won't sweat in this like other foam toppers and there is NO smell. Take it out of the package, throw it on your bed, cover it with a fitted sheet and...viola...nice added-cushion to your already semi-comfortable bed. I would recommend this to anyone looking to add a bit more cushion, not support, to their already comfy bed. Happy dreams.

8PC Queen 1500 Thread Count Bed In a Bag - Taupe Stripes Sheet Set, Duvet Set & Down Alternative Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this bed in a bag set back in January and they are the best! I know its a bit pricey, but for once I wanted to treat myself to a better quality and threadcount bed set than the traditional cheap Wal-Mart ones I usually buy. It comes as advertised! Two pillow cases (standard), 2 shams standard), a large size white down comforter w/ the duvet(cover for the cover), fitted sheet, & flat sheet. The size does run a little bit larger and works great because they are deep fitted sheets. I have a foam pad, and down feather/gel pad on the bed which adds about 3-4 extra inches on my queen sized matress, and the fitted sheet is nice and snug on it. The down comforter looked thin and had me worried when I pulled it out, but boy will it keep you warm in cold weather! It was a little pain to get the comforter inside the duvet, but went pretty smooth once I put 2 and 2 together. The duvet has clear buttons to enclose the comforter which to me the size of the comforter is a lot larger than a queen!! (very happy about that) I have ran everything but the down comforter in the washer (on delicate cycle) according to the instructions and had a very slight shrinkage, but nothing that effected the overall fit. I will defintly buy another set when I get a king size bedroom set. The color is nice (tad darker than the well lit picture)& everything is so smooth and soft!

Pacific Coast® Down Blanket Review

(More customer reviews)When the box arrived I had to double check that correct item had been shipped. The shipping weight on the box said 6 lbs but I wasn't sure what the box or vinyl storage unit it was in additionally weighed.
First we inserted it into the flannel duvet we had and found it really weighed down the medium Pacific Coast down comforter we already had. We had hoped this blanket would add just a little more warmth without much extra weight.
Even out of the duvet it still is heavy, almost the feel of a medium weight wool blanket. For us, it defeats the wonderful feel of our original comforter.
I grew up on farms so I remember the old heavy quilts and blankets we had, so I can personally deal with the extra weight. But my wife just can't adjust to the heaviness of this combination. We will investigate instead Pacific Coast's lightest comforter and send this item back.
