(More customer reviews)This washer is just phenomenal! It cleans VERY well, even in my hard well water. It's very quiet, only producing what some may deem objectionable amounts of noise during the spin cycle, which operates at an incredible 1200 RPM to extract every last bit of moisture possible out of the clothes before you get them out of the washer, which makes your drying of the clothes far more efficient, as the drying time is shortened so much. I've noticed a significant savings in gas usage (drying and hot water) since purchasing this machine.
The machine has to be EXTREMELY level, easy to take care of if you use eight (yes, EIGHT) little levels. Each corner has two sides, so it's easiest to level the machine with one on each side of each corner. You can find cheap ones at the dollar store or bargain bins that work just fine for this purpose.
This washer will wash an overstuffed King-sized down comforter easily. I can even fit the cover in with it.
It has many features, including on-board water heater (essential when dealing with as little water as these machines use, to keep the temperature up), "sanitary" (super-hot water) cycle, pre-wash, and many others. You can even set up custom programs.
The minor gripes: Pre-wash cycle has to have powder put in the compartments, as liquid just drains right into the washer. Cycle times are longer than a top-loader, but the capacity of this thing makes up for that...it's just another of the things to get used to vs. a top-loader. The "cute chime" signalling finished laundry is too quiet to hear on any floor but the one the washer's on. No biggie - the estimated time to finish is usually dead-on unless you get an unbalanced load, which doesn't happen often. Less often, in fact, than my old top-loader.
To ALL who experience problems with smell: LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN BETWEEN USES! This is stated very clearly in the owner's manual. I've NEVER had a problem with mildew odor, and I simply leave the door open every time. It's just one of those things to get used to with a front-loader vs. a top-loader.
Also, the torque this thing puts out may strain a floor that isn't specially reinforced to handle the power of this machine, so it's recommended only on cement (I have carpeted cement where mine is located) or specially reinforced flooring. Many people would do well to make note that this is NOT a conventional top-loader!
A reminder: front-loaders require H.e. detergent, or a VERY SMALL amount of regular. H.e. compatible detergents like that one "Signature" Powder work just fine.
All in all, I love this machine! (I can't believe I'm saying that about a laundry machine...)

LG WT5001CW 27 5.2 cu. Ft. Top Load Washer - White Review

I previously owned a sears kenmore was a nice machine, it lasted 10 years before the electonics in it burnt up. It too was an aggitatorless model, high efficency type. Ten years ago this was one of the first of this type.
So when shopping for a new model I wanted to stick with a top load, aggitatorless, high efficency type. I was very impressed with a LG Blu-ray player I had bought, so keeping those features and the LG brand in mind I looked at thier models first.
This model had the features I wanted so I didn't even consider any other brands.
Installation was easy since I previously had hookups all in place. I didn't read much of the book. The quick install sheet mentions leveling and it was easy to see it was level. All you have to do is make sure the tub lines up with the opening. After hooking up the hoses and putting the drain hose in the drain tube, checking for levelness you're ready to go.
Before putting it in its final position close to the wall, I did one load of laundry to be sure there were no leaks from any hose or the drain. Then I moved it into it's final spot.
I gave it a good workout as I had four weeks of dirty clothing piled up, plus bed sheets and a new quilt I wanted to wash before first use. It was easy to figure out what buttons to push and get going. I only looked at the book to see what a red light was and that turned out to be the lid locked indicator. I did the first load normal and then some of the remaining loads using the cold wash only. The large capacity I might have been able to do fewer loads but I didn't want to overload it and wanted to test it out good first time around. All came out, as best I can tell perfect.

It's easy to get going.
Open lid
Pull out the slide out softener-detergent try and add those as needed
Push tray back in
Add bleach to a seperate spot if used
Add dirty clothing
Close Lid
Press On
Rotate dial to one of eleven load types (normal, colors, whites bedding/bulky, etc).
Push Cold Wash button
Push Fabric Softener button
Push Start
First it does laod sensing. I guess this determines how heavy the load is so it can adjust how much water to use.
It even locks the lid while in operation.
The lid is glass so you can watch your clothing spin around or it spray water on them.
There's a bunch of other buttons to modiy water temp, soil level and custom settings. But it is basically really simple and quick to get going.
The tub will lower during washing, so it won't hit the inside of the top area while spinning. It raises back up when finihsed.
A nice digital display tells you how much time is left and a set of lights tell you what cycle it is on.
At the end it plays a nice little happy tune, instead of that usual beep-beep-beep.
Features I liked or we're impressed with:
The the dial. It gives it an old time feel. Somehow just pushing buttons doesn't always seem right. The knob gives you tacticle feeling but instead of a rotating needle, it has lights that go on or off as you rotate past each setting.
The location of the detergent/softener try seems to be well placed, i think too it runs water through this so it gets all the detergent and softener out and keeps it clean.
Being able to see it work on the inside.
Cute music at end.
Without the aggitator this gives you room for large items. I enjoyed this on my other washer. Washing quilts or blankets is easy and it does a good job on this too.
It is mostly very quiet. With the direct drive motor I guess because of less moving parts. It will whine some during the final spin cycle especially when it slows down, but for the most part I could not hear much when it was running and my wash closet is in the master bathroom, so its not far away. I didn't hear any of that thump-thump you sometimes get even when doing a bulky item or large load. Even the last spin cycle the outside of the machine doesn't shake that much.
Plenty of tub space to wash bulky items.
Drawbacks
Hadn't found any yet really. I'm sure the glass is heavy duty and won't break easily, it might scratch. I live at the beach and sand gets on everything. This will scratch glass easily if you put something down on top of the glass and a grit is between the two. But being able to see the machine at work is worth that.
One final note:
I'm not sure what burnt up my old washers' electronics. It might have been old age or it might have been a power surge or lightening. I'm guess i'm lucky I got ten years out of it. So for this one I bought a twenty buck surge supressor to put on the wall socket and plugged the washer into to it. With everything now having a lot of electronics in it and it being a high ticket item, i think a little extra protection won't hurt.

(More customer reviews)I was very happy with the quality of these sheets. The fabric is more cottony than satiny which is what I like- more cozy. Also the elastic is just an open pocket and not finished like American sheets. I have an extra thick mattress, 19 inches or so, and the fitted sheet worked when it came out of the package. But after 2 washings in cold water, it no longer covers the mattress and there's not enough excess to use sheet grippers. If you have a regular size mattress these sheets are a great buy.

(More customer reviews)No more cold nights for me=) I have to say this blanket was the best blanket I ever purchased. I tend to get cold often, especially at night. I set the blanket on preheat about 10minutes before I am headed to sleep. It preheats the sheets and warms the bed, so when you first lay down your on a nice warm bed! Much better then cold sheets. The temperature control unit is quite nice. Its digital and lights up in the dark, just enough to see, not overally bright at all. It ranges from PH (preheat) through H (high) with 1-10 in the middle. I tend to keep it on a higher setting at first then adjust it to around 4 or 5 for the night. Best thing is the blanket has an autoshut off. Many mornings I awake and rush out and forget to turn the thing off, but I need not worry. I've had mine a few months now and would not trade it.
I keep an extra blanket on my bed as well, although its light. I have my sheet, then the electric blanket, then another blanket on top. It keeps the electric one cleaner and some people prefer more of a snuggly blanket. At least this way you get the best of both worlds:)

I fully expected to be disappointed and I am certainly not only not disappointed but I will plan to order more products like this on the internet. I do have to say that the issue in ordering something like a comforter set is risky primarily because you don't know exactly what the color will be; the color represented in the picture is not the color you get; I did look at these reviews before I purchased this item and someone said the comforter had more green in it and this person was right; it was the exact color I wanted. it would be nice however if the picture was more representative of the actual color. I highly recommend this product

And, like the pillows, it's not the same as in the hotel, even though I checked the tags and 99% sure I got as close as I could get. Feathers are coming out everywhere and sticking me despite their claim that the barrier weave prevents it and it's just not as fluffy as the one in the Marriott. I'm sure I could find a much cheaper one that's just as good, so recommend you keep shopping!

Those had simple and effect metal grips, and adjustable elastic straps that extended to clip sheets on the largest mattress. Unfortunately they don't sell them anymore, so I foolishly bought these (based on some of the suspiciously positive reviews here). The straps on these awful "grippers" are only about 6 inches, are not adjustable, and barely stretch much longer. You have to fasten them underneath the mattress (if you're lucky enough to only need a few inches to fasten your sheets). To make it worse, the button fasteners are a nightmare to use, and cheaply constructed. In short, this product is garbage. To add insult to injury the seller Cashco1000, Inc. won't take back opened packages.

(More customer reviews)We just got our duvet and are enjoying the softness of the micro-fiber. We have two young boys and they are putting it through the wringer with alot of jumping, wrestling and snuggling. We all agree that it feels great.
The other day I noticed a small blood stain on my brand new duvet. Probabaly from one of my boys. Anyway, I used a little bath soap and water to dab at it, and to my surprise the stain disappeared immediately. The color remains fine as well. I have not fully laundered the duvet yet, but based on the ease with which I was able to remove the stain, I am very pleased with the fabric. I am reserving a star until I see how it handles a full laundering.
The shams are king sized, which I like as my last duvet came with standard size shams and I have a king size bed, and the cushions are a nice finishing touch.
I am very happy with my purchase.
