We stay cool in the summer, warm in the winter. The fill is very even within the baffles and overall the product is constructed very well. It fluffs up nicely on the bed.

(More customer reviews)I have had this blanket for two years now and I'm planning to buy another one after the holidays. I have washed it weekly. Now, two years later the feathers have started popping out, kinda making a mess. However, thats to be expected when you don't follow the care instructions, but I have three dogs that love to curl up on the sofa with this blanket, I wasn't about to dry clean it weekly! It has held up very well considering. I also have this in the champagne color and use that one on my bed. I have had it for two years as well and it is still in like new condition! LOVE this blanket! Very warm, soft, and durable for what I need it for.

So this product arrived yesterday. My wife was thoroughly disappointed, since its really thin. It is not fat and fluffy as you'd imagine given the boastful claims of the advertisment. Is it warm? Yes it is. Is there such a thing as a "Siberian goose"? Yes. Are there Siberian goose feathers are in this comforter? NO. Read this article. [...]
I'm inclined to believe it. This comforter is probably made in a sweatshop in China somewhere and I wonder what the fill is actually made of.
Does it do a decent job of keeping you warm for the price you've paid? Yes. Am I gonna return it? No. Too much hassle and shipment cost for a $100 comforter. Would I buy it again knowing what I know now? NO!!
Lesson learned about buying bedding online.
Someone else has also mentioned in a review for the same product but for a different size that its available on eBay for cheaper.
Knocking it down to 3 stars for all the lies and misleading marketing.

They even give an impressive "700FP" fill power rating, to make it sound like this is comparable to an actual down comforter. What you get is a flat, underfilled, thin quilt. Sure, the shell is nice, but it's not the fluffy paradise the pictures lead you to believe. As a summery quilt, I would admit it's fine but way overpriced. If I just had the energy and coordination to return this sham, I would do so.
I notice that the two previous reviews were posted after I had already ordered this, which makes me suspicious: was this a genuinely new item? Or do they just keep switching the listings to stay one step ahead of the bad reputation? The moral: don't buy anything on Amazon that has zero reviews.

Microsuede Feather Comforter Set Review

(More customer reviews)I have had this set for about 2 months now. It looks great, and for the price I am thrilled with it. Some things to think about: I bought the king size set for my queen size bed. I am glad I did. The King size drapes just enough over the sides to give adeqate coverage for my thick mattress and most of the box spring, so that only the nice wooden bedrail shows. The King set comes with standard size shams. This was not a problem for me, but should be noted. The down fill tends to gather towards the center of our spread between my husband and myself(it's not sewn in to squares, but rather the stitching is crosses that would form squares if they connected, so the fill can move around. This is easy to "fix" by swiftly running your hand firmly in the diretion you want to 'push' the fill. It evens out in three or four swishes when making the bed. We have the set in Camel... and it matches quite nicely though not exactly with the Pinzon Flannel sheets in Camel also available from Amazon. If I see this at the 35 price again, I will surely purchase another one for backup... at that price I don't expect it to last forever-- but I can afford to change more often!
***UPDATE... the cat got sick on this and so it needed to be washed quickly- and I did so in the washing machine and dried it in the drier. I'm not sure if it happened during the wash or the dry cycle, but I ended up with a substantial amount of feathers poking out. It was enough so that I purchased similar product on Amazon with a poly stuffing rather than the down. I still have this for backup, but the feathers were bugging me.

(More customer reviews)This purchase just arrived but when I placed it on the bed, it barely goes over the sides - NOT like the photo in the ad - and does not go over the side at all at the bottom of the bed. I measured the dimensions and this "king" comforter is 101 inches x 79 inches. I looked up what a king sized comforter should be and most sites list a king as 108-110 inches x 96-98 inches. I will be returning this tomorrow!

But, it has remained ridiculously LOUD. Yes, loud. I don't know how to explain it, but this blanket crinkles. And, it just isn't cozy. Again, hard to explain, but it just isn't. It's a bit stiff and just not cuddly. That may not be the most descriptive way to describe a blanket, but I can tell you this - I'd return it if I could.

(More customer reviews)I had been looking for a good, affordable down or down alternative comforter for a while. I'd been sleeping with a regular comforter and was tired of having to sleep under a pile of blankets to stay warm.
I came across this comforter and I liked the reviews, so I decided to give it a try.
Man, am I glad that I did!
The first thing that I noticed when I opened the box was how beautiful it was! It's bright white, and the fabric is very soft and smooth, and has just the right amount of crispness to it. The white has a subtle floral pattern to it that is super cute.
The comforter itself is big and fluffy! It is heavy, but in a light way, if that makes sense. It is made with baffle box construction so that all of the filling stays in place. It is well made. It feels like a luxurious down comforter.
It is warm enough that you can sleep under just it and a sheet and stay very toasty. I turn my heat down at night to save money, and I don't like to wear heavy pajamas to bed. With this comforter, I never get cold. Since I got this comforter, I hate to get out of bed in the mornings.
it might be too warm for you if you live in a warm climate, or if you keep your house very warm at night. Also, if you wear very thick pajamas, you might find it too warm. For the rest of us, though, I think it's perfect, and I don't think you can find a better comforter for the price!

It's moderately priced, may not have the highest thread count, but honestly who DOESNT use a duvet cover?!
I use it with a sheet and a blanket as well as a duvet cover, I wouldnt say this thing is overly warm. I plan to take the blanket out of the mix when the summer comes.
It fits perfect inside of my duvet cover which is 104x86".
If you are thinking about purchasing this one, you will not be disappointed!

(More customer reviews)I was overcome with the horrid smell of mildew and storage shed as soon as I opened the zipper (it probably has to do with its warehouse storage).. I have no idea how much it costs to dry clean a queen size down comforter, but the quality of the fill isn't very good either- it is pokey and you can see the grey/black feathers through the casing which doesn't look that great either. Overall, I'd say don't bother with this product. I wanted white because I purchased a cream colored down comforter from Target about two years ago and it was great- it was around $50 including tax and for the $20 difference, you get atleast triple the quality of product.

Even the most expensive comforter will smell like wet bird. I owned a laundry and washed many down comforters. They are never the same after they are washed and I would not wash a new one. They take much longer to dry than people think and should be dried slowly on med. heat. This is a true red, very hard to find.
